Philippe Trottier

Philippe began his career at Google, in California, then worked at Ubisoft and Unity. Before going into business in 2023, he built demanding software in high-level environments and learned how the best teams design, ship and maintain reliable systems. Today, he applies that experience with SMEs in Montreal and elsewhere in Canada: technology advice, fractional CTO work and guidance for small teams.

Philippe is also the fractional CTO of Valade et associés, a Montreal firm of judicial bailiffs (huissiers de justice), during its digital transformation. That mandate includes leading their small tech team. He also builds the internal software for Randmar, a distributor in business since 1936 and active across Canada: it distributes major brands such as HP, Canon, Brother, Lexmark and Sharp, and supplies multi-million-dollar Shopify merchants from a large warehouse in Laval. These are part-time mandates, so NeoGecko remains available for new projects.

Philippe holds a degree in software engineering (B.Ing., ÉTS, Montreal, 2016).

Who does the work

You work directly with Philippe. NeoGecko keeps no one on the bench: when the work calls for it, Philippe brings in the right person: a trusted senior collaborator, or a junior or intern he supervises closely (never a beginner: at least a year of field experience, carefully selected through a rigorous interview; interns are university-level).
